Where Real Estate Gets Its Dirt

MIBOR names Shelley Specchio new CEO

picture1MIBOR Announces Shelley Specchio as new CEO

““The nationwide search for our new CEO presented us with many excellent candidates, and the decision was not easy,” said Roger Lundy, 2016 MIBOR president. “Shelley was the clear choice with her impressive background, knowledge and her respect for the real estate industry. I know that the MIBOR staff and membership will be well served with her proven dedication to the industry and promoting the REALTOR® brand.”

“It was really the people,” said Specchio when asked what drew her to the organization. “Of course, I knew MIBOR through the sterling reputations of Steve Sullivan, Tom Renkert and Chris Pryor in the national arena; the opportunity to be a part of that culture was compelling on its own. It was when I met the volunteer leaders whose commitment and dedication to MIBOR was demonstrated in so many ways throughout the process, that I knew my own enthusiasm and skill would complement an already vibrant organization.”

Northern Nevada Regional MLS (NNRMLS) is a fountainhead of MLS talent. Think about it, Merri Jo Cowen, Chris Carrillo, and Sean Murphy are just a few names I can think of. And now Shelley.

Shelley is one of the true leaders in our industry. One of her most positive strengths is that despite all her many accomplishments she is very humble and is always willing to sit and listen and try to understand everyone’s viewpoint. That’s pretty rare nowadays. Kudos to MIBOR and congratulations to Shelley.

Jeff Lobb Joins Team Revaluate

““We are thrilled to bring Jeff’s knowledge and background to our team. He’s known for helping brokers, brands and agents strategically grow. Additionally, his charisma, technical aptitude and drive have been evident to me for more than 10 years. We are also fortunate to be retaining the services of SparkTankMedia alongside such a good person and tremendous talent.” Said Revaluate CEO Chris Drayer.

Revaluate is one of the under the radar products that is really interesting. They’ve done a great job with the UI/UX of the product. Jeff is a great addition, he was a early supporter of Cloud CMA, which makes him pretty smart in my book ; )

Congrats!

Lauren Hill joins Clareity Security

AAEAAQAAAAAAAAf9AAAAJDMyOTc1YTU4LTQwNTctNDIxNi04NjU2LTA5MjYxMGVmZjNiMwSpeaking of Clareity Security I’m very happy to hear that Lauren Hill has recently joined Clareity Security as their new Senior Account Executive. Lauren was previously at ListHub as a Regional Account Manager for over 3 years. I think Lauren has an amazing career ahead of her.

Amy Gorce (formerly Geddes) promoted to President of Clareity Security

Clareity Promotes Amy Gorce to President

“Amy has proven herself to be a fantastic leader inside Clareity and a well respected executive and thought leader in the industry. I am personally elated to promote Amy and have her expand her leadership role at Clareity Security,” said Gregg Larson, Founder and CEO, “especially as we are now, more than ever, poised to broaden and deepen our product offerings.”

Over the last two years under Amy’s product leadership, Clareity Security developed and implemented a new and much improved biometric-based security platform (SAFEMLS PLUS), built and upgraded its entire customer base to its new V3.0 SSO Dashboard, designed a content management system (CMS) module for the new dashboard, and recently launched a new Broker Dashboard product line.”

This is the best news to show up in my inbox in a long time. It’s great to have Amy as a colleague and a friend. She is just someone that I really trust and have gone to for advice over the years and I really could not be happier for her and the Clareity team. Can’t wait to see her and the team in D.C. to congratulate them in person.

Kevin Hughes joins Centralized Showing Services (CSS)

Clareity Security customers got an announcement today notifying that longtime employee/partner Kevin Hughes will be leaving the company later this month. Kevin is joining CSS as their VP of Sales, Marketing, and Business Development (no word on janitorial duties as of yet). CSS is headquartered out of Kansas, where Kevin lives. From what I hear the news was a bit of shock to Clareity, but they are happy for Kevin and his new challenge. Looks to be a great opportunity, the online showing space has received a lot of attention in the past few years, with competitor ShowingTime making some big time acquisitions. Congrats to Kevin and CSS.
